A Parity and Auburn Seminary event

Are you interested in the dynamics of religion, faith and being LGBTQia?

Do you want to move the needle forward towards greater understanding, authentic sharing, curious listening and collaboration?

If so, consider joining us for an interactive workshop that will help you to:

  • Know your self and your motivations;

  • Learn techniques for how to communicate across difference;

  • Collaborate towards your goals and for the common good.

Noted Utah and national bridging and collaboration experts will be on hand to share techniques and stories, including:

Dr. Sharon Groves, Auburn Seminary
Rev. Dr. Mark DeYmaz and Linda DeYmaz
Rev. Brandan Robertson
Laura Warburton, Live Hannah's Hope

Seating is strictly limited and registration is required.  The workshop will include forming collaborations towards mutual areas of interest and common goals, which, depending on the interests of attendees, may include:

  • Conversion Therapy

  • Religious Freedom and LGBTQia Rights

  • Same-sex Adoption

  • Public Accommodations

  • LGBTQia youth suicide and homelessness prevention

  • Family strengthening across LGBTQia and faith divides

Attendees will have the opportunity for continued collaboration and workshops from additional Utah and national experts as well as mentoring of new collaborative cohorts.

Attendees must have a collaborative spirit and commitment to curious, authentic communication.  “Unlikely” friends and collaborators are encouraged to attend together.
