"I've been involved with Parity since 2008 and have served as chair of the Board of Visionaries. A long time advocate, I have been active in the struggle for marriage equality and have been honored with a Parity Award.

I was excited to be part of the visioning that turned Presbyterian Welcome into Parity because we wanted to become more diverse, expand ecumenically, grow geographically and continue to strive for LGBTQia advocacy and empowerment.

Here's a little about me you might not learn when you Google me:  A recovering born-again Evangelical, I'm an ordained United Church of Christ (UCC) minister and have full standing with the PCUSA. I've served churches in the Metro/Suffolk Association of the UCC, Presbytery of NYC and Presbytery of the Palisades and as an associate for Church Growth and Evangelism of the NYC Conference of the UCC.

All of us are grateful to you, Parity supporters, for all that you do to share in our goal of a world where LGBTQia people may freely embrace their faith and gifts for leadership.
