The Parity Outreach Project is an interfaith effort to connect faith communities and members to LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness.
It also is an effort to connect people, organizations, faith groups, churches and service providers who want to help prevent and address youth homelessness, particularly, but not exclusively, youth and young adults who are LGBTQ+.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Individuals, organizations, businesses and congregations may donate supplies
Organizations, businesses, congregations may sign up to make care kits and have an educational program / workshop (street culture, trauma-informed care, companioning, LGBTQ+ sensitivity, strengthening families, etc.)
